Inspired by Hans Christen Anderson’s fairytale of a tiny girl miraculously born into a flower, the Thumbelina Romper is made from a ‘millefleur’ cotton, which literally translates as ‘thousand flowers’. Just like it’s big sister, theThumbelinadress, it’s a guaranteed conversation-starter, imagination-igniter and adventure-inducer.
Our rompers have longevity and function, as well as a timeless aesthetic, at the core of their design. Fabric covered buttons fasten between the legs for easy nappy changes and the fine cotton is machine washable and soft against delicate skin.

Traditional hand smocking and embroidery
All our dresses are fully lined and come up true to size. We therefore recommend purchasing the exact age of the child and, if in between sizes, the next size up. For rompers, we recommend purchasing the next size up. For details, please see our size guide in the picture.
Our clothes are designed for children to explore and have fun in! All our items can be machine washed on a delicate cycle at 30°C, ideally inside out to protect the smocking and embroidery. Alternatively you can hand wash them, but please do not soak, bleach, rub or wring the item. We recommend line drying, and not using a tumble dryer.
For our silk dresses, we recommend dry cleaning. Please note that these consist of 100% raw silk, and that slight imperfections may occur as it is a natural fabric.
Please note that most of our items are smocked and embroidered by hand, and therefore slight variations in the exact design can occur. We are proud of our skilled craftspeople and to be a brand that values the beautiful traditional craft of smocking and embroidery.
